What The Heck Do I Wear to my Boudoir Shoot?

When it comes to finding the perfect boudoir outfit, I want you to be as comfortable as possible. You can dress up or dress down as much as you want. My goal is to keep things as artistic and creative as possible.

If you want to wear a jersey for your man, I suggest wearing a team t-shirt instead. Jerseys are so baggy and are hard to show off your shape. I’ll want to pull the neckline off your shoulder, which we can’t achieve with a jersey, but we can with a oversized t-shirt.

Boudoir Photography for the bold and badass

Always bring more than you think to your shoot. Bring at least 3-4 outfits to pick from and I will help you decide what will look best for your vision! At The Hive House, you will have access to the client closet if you feel stuck on what to wear. We have access to a variety of bralettes, bodysuits, shorts sets, see-through dresses, cardigans & sweaters. There’s a bunch of cute options in a variety of sizes (xs-4xl), so I’m certain we will have something for you!

Lingerie on bed at Juniper Loft for Boudoir Session

It’s hard to tell you what you should wear, as everybody is unique and beautiful in their own way. My favorite kind of outfits to photograph are probably bodysuits, or a crop top paired with some cheeky undies. I usually tell people to avoid the thong and go for cheeky undies, but if you love the look of a thong, go for it! I am totally open and okay with shooting nude, but will keep nude images tasteful and artistic. This session is about you and should reflect what you’re inspired by!
